So you bought the Stage 1 kit for better performance and now you have an air cleaner cover that looks like the thing room service puts over dinner plates to keep them warm. Boring, not to mention ugly! If you wanted a cool exposed air cleaner setup you'd have to scrap your Screamin' Eagle kit and spend $200 + for a K&N or Arlen Ness kit. Now you can keep your Stage 1 kit AND have a cool air cleaner setup.

The cover is precision water jet cut from 1/16" stainless steel and polished to a mirror finish or powder coated for durability. This is a high quality, heavy duty accessory made by hand right here in the USA. It can be mounted with your stock button head bolt, or we can ship it to you with the old-school hot rod style wing nut setup or with the spiked (pike) nut setup. *Harley changed the dimesions of the Screamin' Eagle backing plate and filter in '03. The new backing plate and filter are the same height, have the same rounded ends and the same bolt pattern as the old kits but are 7/16" shorter on each end. So, to utilize this cover on pre-'03 SE kits you will need Harley filter element # 29044-04B. Your backing plate will show a bit on the ends using the older SE kit. If it bothers you and you have access to the necessary equipment, you can easily cut or grind the backing plate to size.
